This 40 hour Monday-Friday position is based at the corporate office in Peoria, IL. Employment will be at-will.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. May serve as lead or backup to any of the below tasks:

    • Consults with managers and supervisors to assess training needs.
    • Develops, implements, and delivers training programs for medical and non-medical staff.
    • Develops and maintains continual education support materials in conjunction with medical staff.
    • Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
    • Training and event planning.
    • Train as backup to front desk phones.
    • Communicate and deal effectively with others.
    • Relate to individuals at all levels; management and non-management employees.
    • Deal with people tactfully and respectfully both in the corporate office and remotely.
    • Prioritize multiple tasks successfully and efficiently.
    • Takes photos for Recognition presentations and events.
    • Receives approval from the Vice Chairman of the Board to post well-written copy/pictures/videos to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for appropriate events, while moderating comments and answering questions or concerns in a timely manner.
    • Creates and submits monthly magazine briefs.
    • Creates and submits ads for Sheriff’s Associations for Business Development.
    • Creates invitations for Medical Advisory meetings and Jail Summits.
    • Creates and submits magazine spreads to Peoria Magazine 3x a year.
    • Consults, selects, orders, and reviews promotional products, business cards, folders, and marketing displays with the Vice Chairman of the Board.
    • Creates and sends Doctor’s day, Nurse’s day, and Christmas cards and emails.
    • Aids in the creative direction of videos for promotional, recruitment and training purposes (client testimonials, employee testimonials, content-driven vignettes for social media, training DVDs for clients).
    • Creates communication pieces for internal and external distribution, including copyrighting for state and national advertising, client letters, and job recruitment ads.
    • Supports and maintains brand purpose, vision, position, and guidelines.
    • Maintains ACH’s online identity through website development (and maintenance); manages content for www.advancedch.com.
    • Any and all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Learning management systems experience a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, InDesign, and email skills
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on grammar/spelling excellence
  • Strong Photoshop or other graphic design software skills.
