This 40 hour Monday-Friday Medical Claims Processor position is based at the corporate office in Peoria, IL. Employment will be at-will.

Essential functions:

  • Review bills for appropriateness based on individual contracts.
  • Re-price inmate medical claims per network provider terms.
  • Data entry of claims in SharePoint database.
  • Online data entry of network re-pricing.
  • Run reports as required through SharePoint.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, or fax as required.
  • Segregate bills for reconciliation back to the county.
  • Route bills for proper approval.
  • Copying, scanning, and filing as required.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in field applying for or the equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Typing and 10-key with accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Office Internet, and email skills
  • Strong attention to detail
